I really like mixing different styles and making collages ... I really don't remember what exactly triggered me to do that one, as I was pretty ill the day I made it, but I love how it turned out ;-)

First impressions: looks like the album cover of some really pretentious indie-rock group who think they're "rebellious, but fun-lovin'". Which isn't an indictment of your work, just an ehalation of my ink-blot style state of mind. Okay, I'll shut the hell up now.

I love that opaque lens-flare motif (or is it a 'full' rainbow?) - very distinctive. And the way in which the shadow of the central figure plays across the cornfield must have been pretty damn challenging to implement - but by buggery, you've done it.
A very professional and 'complete' piece of work.

Wow - thanks for your comments and the fav!

I'm glad to hear that you really appreciate this piece. And yeah - the shadow (among quite some other things) were a challenge ;-) Great when people notice the details!!

Have a bunch of fun!

You made this when you had flue. Very good. I suppose it took your mind off it a bit. Nice peice of art - I like the way you have the people walking off hand in hand.

The bottom sides of the rainbow seem to breakup irratically. Try smothing them out to make them consistent with the rays of light.

This is pretty neat.

Thanks for showing me.

Ooo...I love all the details in this, especially the cracked circular rainbow and the rays of sun coming from behind the clouds. I also like the way the man's body grows from a tree, but that's the centerpiece so :P

This is really good - i love it all especially the line of people. One suggestion though - remove the glow on the inside of the man, it looks funny.

Wow, this looks like a very conceptual image ^^

I like the way the man fits so well right from under the rainbow, and the different perspectives you used. Good work! ^^

Yes, my first impression was Noah's Ark, but my second impression was gay marriage.
Rainbows have too many meanings.

Yes - and they are 'over used' (hence the look of it) ... that's what I like about 'em ;-) When doing a piece like this I want people to make up their own mind about it - I'm not preachin anything! So if you get associations as diverse as Noah's Ark and gay marriage, I think I've accomplished a great deal of what I want.

Thanks for commenting!

That is very intresting! No one commented yet? They suck.
Anyway I like the collage idea here, it reminds me of the time frame of Beattles and the style of retro. Your work paid off! I can't say anything bad about this! Great use of stock.

*tucks it under arm* Its going to be featured in my Journal. Instant favorite since you combinded so many elements and it worked out besides using a traditional method but on the computer.
